CONFERENCES
In 2026, MONIC will launch a series of public lectures dedicated to consciousness and its current challenges . Two major events, each welcoming approximately 150 participants, will bring together researchers, students, and citizens to explore diverse perspectives. The lectures will be recorded and broadcast online , making their content accessible throughout Quebec and internationally.

SYMPOSIUM
The NAC3 (Neurophysiology of Altered Consciousness and Critical Care Lab) , led by Dr. Catherine Duclos, and the BIAPT (Biosignal Interaction and Personhood Technology Lab) , led by Dr. Stefanie Blain-Moraes, were pleased to host three editions of the Canadian Consciousness Research Symposia. The first edition was organized by the BIAPT laboratory, the second by BIAPT and NAC3, and the third, the first held in person, was organized by NAC3 in collaboration with the MONIC team, marking the official launch of the MONIC initiative.
